Rubis Guyana inc., a company specializing in the marketing of petroleum products, is seeking to fill the vacant position of Aviation Wingman.
The Portfolio
The responsibilities for the position include:
Gauges all tanks before receiving product and ensures that product received complies with all applicablestandards. Loads refueler according to operating standards.
- Delivers fuels safely and efficiently to aircrafts and performs all required quality control tests
- Performs daily checks and inspections on mobile equipment and fixed facilities
- Complies with all health, environmental, security and safety regulations
- Updates quality control records and prepares daily work documentation
- Assists in the implementation of planned maintenance programs
- Complies at all times with administrative policies, operating procedures, rules and regulations of RUBIS and that of the Airport’s Authority
Requirements
- 5 CXC’s including Mathematics and English
- A certificate/diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification from technical institutions/industrial training centres
- 1 to 2 years’ experience (preferably mechanical) in a similar environment
- Possession of a valid Heavy Duty Vehicle license
- Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to work within a flexible work arrangement
