Sales & Marketing Coordinator

Rubis Guyana Inc., a company specializing in the marketing of petroleum products, is seeking to fill the vacant position of Sales & Marketing Coordinator.

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator’s role is to provide support for the Sales Team, supporting all marketing and sales strategies and act as a Brand Ambassador for Rubis at all times.

The responsibilities for the position include:

  • Supports the review of the customer base and works closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for continued market growth
  • Reviews monthly credit reports to ensure that customers adhere to credit terms and follows up on violations
  • Compiles market intelligence for petroleum products and monitors lubricant inventory
  • Manages marketing materials and ensures proper categorization and control.
  • Processes vendor invoices for payments
  • Processes customer sales orders and follows up on commercial customer requests
  • Coordinates the department records and documentation retention
  • Assists in the coordination of all promotional activities, sponsorships and donations
  • Follows up on maintenance issues to ensure that reported problems are rectified timely
  • Supports the RUBIS Fleet and Gift cards and all other card services. Keeps track and follows up on local card services documentation
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Management or related discipline
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a related field
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated sales track record
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Results oriented, self-motivated and business focused
  • Ability to travel overseas
